I'm tired of dealing with PS leaks. So what do you guys know about this subject?

You grab a crack on the road or a unleveled joint and it pulls hard on your hands

TOOOTALLY different animal! Significantly different ratios. Manual rack is FAR more precise and direct, so I'm not remotely surprised by Lart's feedback. Of course it doesn't leak, either!

So what would yours sell for? Want to trade for my power rack. It needs a rebuild.

My fall back is to de-power my power rack. Is there a write up on that somewhere?

Here ya go Ehall I personally enjoy the de-powered rack I can't compare vs a true manual rack but after the first week of getting use to it I liked it more than having a powered rack felt more natural and raw.

A. Thanks for the link.
B. Good feedback! It's my legit fall back. Okay never mind, if you read what I posted already. I thought your link was to an available manual rack for sale, rather than how to de-power the rack, so DOUBLE thanks!

Thanks again!

Does anyone know which models of 944's came with stock manual racks and if they are easy to retrofit into a late offset 951?

Okay, now this is a great idea! Is this what you used? Experience with them? thank you!

never mind about the experience question, my ADD is REALLY beating the crap out of my reading skills today!

Okay, so Spencer, will they sell the additional parts, if we source our own 924 rack? I have no idea what that might cost, but less expensive, perhaps? I guess one would need to find a used 924 rack and then but the solid mounts and shaft? Am I missing anything?
