This is what we used to do prior to semi - solid transmission mounts. It's a straightforward deal, and worked very well. One of the best options if the money is an issue, plus you'll learn how to do the job moving forward. It's not that difficult, a good friend, jackstands, and a floor jack will make your bloody knuckles, dirty nails, etc. easier.
I am thinking one could take a new set of the cheapo URO/whatever mounts, drill out the core on a drill press (whether it's hydraulic or solid rubber), and then filling the thing with urethane. It might be even better if it were solid rubber, you could drill angled channels into the rubber to fill with more urethane for more "grab".

Semi-solid mounts for ~$100 all-in.
I may do mounts on my car sometime this year and might give it a shot.

[QUOTE=George D;12518702]Check out this Rennlist post in search. Budget - this may be your solution.

Sounds familiar to what spencer did for the transmission mount.

Porsche acronym:

"Poor old retard should cut his expenses"

And top reman taste way better then rice alone. Top reman gets the little tasty packet. Buy vitamins and supplements if you plan on either of these diets. A car is not worth starving for. Unless you have mental problems such as myself. Then it's ok, you'll eventually eat, but don't forget those vitamins.

I offer 10% off for Rennlister's which would help on price little. I have both Corteco and URO.
Contact me if you want to purchase.
