Yeah I F*&^$^$# up and picked up some 19z calipers instead of 18z.
Now I'm requesting all the pictures that you guys have or can find of 951's with 19" wheels. I am trying to sell these so that I can use 18", but it's not looking good.
Hoping to see more of these two.

I have 18" rims, but I haven't seen anyone with 19". 19" will put undue strain on your suspension components and your car will even accelerate slower. I have 16" for the track and the car accelerates faster with those wheels.
Good luck.
Good luck.

The difference is:
Wheel + tyre weight
Tyre width - more grip = more rolling resistance
Tyre type - more grip = more rolling resistance. less grip = less resistance.

If you add 10 pounds on each wheel iirc its equivalent to adding 240 to the weight of the car (6:1 ratio), so there is more weight to move. That will affect acceleration. That extra 10 pounds on each wheel will also negatively affect control and how the car handles.

Circumference is only part of the acceleration equation, the added unsprung weight is the other part. Bigger wheels and tires are heavier, especially lower profile tires that have considerably more steel belts in the sidewall.

I don't want to go this route but may have to. I don't think the brakes will sell anytime soon. As far as power department and sluggish, I'm covered though. Should dyno 7xx whp on stock short block and 1xxx whp sleeved and forged.

You might want to upgrade everything else to that engine. I would think that would eat up and spit out the clutch, trans, CV axels and rear tires, on just the first acceleration.
