Default Happy story Is ALIVE 2.8L revived

In 2011 my my youngest boy bought a well sorted 951, less than a week into ownership the mallory launch control short circuited the positive wire from the coil, I repaired the car in less than a week with the help of this forum.

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...he-coil-2.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...ing-picts.html

Now dejavu but not the same car, this time is a fellow lister's baby, well sorted 2.8L rogue tuned, bilsteins sport cup on 4 corners, M030 bars, 3 inch exhaust, dual port wastegate, 3"exhaust, LR super 53, AOR transmission, etc etc etc etc etc. same thing happened this is a car I dont want to part honestly

I'd second that as a very likely possibility.

Are you wiring in a fuse on the power supply wire this time? Not familiar with the manufacture instructions but since this has happened twice it might be a good idea on re-install if it does not have one already.
