Did it ship yet? I'm still waiting for mine, haven't got any shipping notices yet.

+ Injectors, air filter, intake tube, and plenty of 944 kits in everyday use on the street ?

No need to change the injectors, AFM can be replaced with hollowed out one to retain factory look, just needs air temp sensor (included) to be installed into charge tube, nothing else.

What would be the price for 944T plug and play VEMS with new larger injectors, intake tube and cone air filter ?

It looks like junk to me, besides the Bluetooth option. It has other connectors from different ECUs that happen to fit the 944, it has exposed wires to convert that plug to the one the ECU is designed with. Visually is pretty big, maybe thicker then the stock dme. And I'm pretty sure its not using 3 dimensional mapping. It's just a more convenient stock dme, for basic tuning. . I'd say rogue tunings ECUs makes that ECU look outdated and at less then half the cost, I'd say no contest. Rogues design is by far the best ECU on the market

VEMS is proper standalone based on megasquirt, rogue is clone of original ecu with few extra options.

Vems is not junk trust me. Their webpage and documentation is mediocre but ecus are good.

Maybe you should get more familiar with it before throwing such statements? VEMS has one of the best tuning interfaces in the market, not just in its price segment. Ever heard of Alpha-N+hybrid load control strategy that is best for ITB+turbo application?
Feature-wise it is comparable with Haltech Platinum 2000 only costs fraction of the latter. Also, it supports 8cyl full sequential injection/COP ignition, also dual-VANOS (and other cam control types) + electronic throttle.

Regarding derivative from MS, that is not that way for at least 7-8 years. In its eraly days it used Megatune interface (that was not compatible with MS, they use completely different CPU architecture), for last 7-8 years VEMStune is the interface with all features integrated.

This is a rogue tuning forum. If you want to discuss a different ecu start a new forum. All I can say is after doing a quick search the unit is not presented very well to the consumer which is step one in running a business. This is not to say the unit isn't good, its just not presented well. Past that, the unit has a wired in harness from another vehicle, that happens to fit our cars. This is a visual eye sore. Other than that It has some convenient options which are nice but in my opinion are over kill. I think sometimes car guys forget that their cars aren't flying to the moon. If you have to constantly tweak your tune. Your probably just being overly ****.
