Turbo S M030 Koni height adjustment

Is it ok to use the adjustable spring perch to adjust ride height without changing the spring? Does it effectively change the rate if you lower it a little, because the spring is loaded more?

Yes, that is exactly what it was designed to do. No, they are linear rate springs, they would have to be compressed a LOT before getting out of the linear region.
