I've got a complete short block which is 2.85 liters and all the super trick expensive stuff in it for sale at $3500.

It came out of a race car that was only raced a couple of times as the previous owner died, and I ended up with the car.

This short block would easily cost you close to $6,000 to $7,000 to build.

It's complete. The only thing it needs is to use your oil cooler housing, and a head/cam/intake manifold (and I've got those too if you need them).

This 2.85 liter engine made 385 horsepower to the wheels SAE corrected on a dynojet at 17psi boost.

Yes

It's got a 3 liter crank, Carillo rods, JE pistons, "O" ringed block, steel sleeves, complete with oil pump, John Milledge modified oil pan/pickup, water pump, new timing covers, new belts/rollers, and more...

Damn Tony!

If that engine was available 8 months ago I would have jumped on it!

Mike

It's a good deal for sure. The price of a 3 liter crank and Carillo rods can easily run close to $2500 alone.
