What is a 1986 951 worth?

I'm selling my '86 951, since I have way too many cars and life has evolved to where there is not enough time to keep up with the maintenance on them, much less drive them.
It has 94k miles, but everything still looks new - no dash cracks, orig. shiny paint, flawless interior, etc. It's India red w/blk leather - has sunroof, phone dials, cruise, side mldgs, sport Konis, headlight washers.
New clutch, pressure plate and T/O, torque tube bearings, clutch master & slave cyls, belts & rollers, motor mounts, rad, battery, 225/50 and 245/45 Gatorbacks. Only mods are Autothority chips and shimmed wastegate spring (exh. backpressure was blowing it open and limiting max. boost to 7 psi)
Am thinking about asking $8-9k OBO, based on recent eBay 951s and autotrader ads, like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2430269344
Mine is identical to the eBay vehicle and the attached jpg, with the exception of mileage and a couple small door dings from the PO.
Does this sound logical?

Personally, I think you might be a bit low, but I am sure the naysayers around here will try to tell you its a $4000 car, lol.
There are not all that many clean, stock cars left. Hold to your guns as long as you can, to the right buyer it is worth the money. Try not to sell it to some kid who will kill it running 1/4 miles, too.
My car is pretty similar to yours, except I have the mag/al Fuchs, just turned 96,000 miles. Were I to sell it, I would not take less than $8000, especially since I have close to 10k in reciepts over the last 3 years, and I am still stock. And my dash has some cracks, plus some minor seat wear.
Look at it this way...a stock '86 is just about the most desirable of the cars, since you can take them farther if you want to mod, it had the forged con-rods, less weight without the unneeded ABS and airbags, and parts are pretty widely available.
I say go for $10,000, you can always cut someone a deal if they are a suitable owner.
Hehe, and for punk *** 2Fast wannabes, it should be $12,500!

From the past couple of months of test driving 951's and trying to find the perfect one, I'd say you can pick up one with 90k, ALL maintaince performed, flawless shape in/out, etc for $10k. Eric for your 951, I'd say an asking price of $8500-$9k is pretty fair.

I had a guy locally selling his 75k mile, 951, black/black, $6000/cash. He dropped from the original $7500 because no one was biting.
The one thing I hate about eBay is you get the type of people who bid on the car, but they dont have any interest/funds and all they cause is the price to go up.
