Default Anyone have 2 good lifters to sell.give away?

I need 2 hydraulic lifters. The rest seem okay but I can press 2 on them with my fingers. Explain why they were noisy. If anyone has a pair they want to sell/give away. Ofcourse, they have to be in perfect working condition.
Thanks.

I think I may have two you can have, but I need to check them out first... how soon do you need them?

Regards,

Scott, I can wait tille sometime next week, no problem. The lifters are not for 968 as they are different. These are standard 944/944 turbo lifters.

Raj,

Dont use "used" lifters. You will regret it;^) Chances are that if two of them are bad then.......the other six are probably not in that great of shape either! Its time to bite the bullet and get a brand new set of factory Porsche lifters. Do not bother trying to save a few bucks with the aftermarket lifters because they do not hold up well.

968turbos . Tim right, you should usualy replace all lifters at the same time or at least replace the ones that are shot with new ones. The ones that I have in stock are manufactured by TRW and are selling for 71$usd retail ,I can sell them for 59$ usd each. The price varies alot between brands.

I sold some used S lifters on e-bay last year. They went really cheap, which shows you how much people value them.

Well, I bought 2 new ones. I need only 2 lifters and that too temporarily but thanks for your help guys. I usually don't like buying used stuff either and that is why I decided to get new ones. I will be swapping engines soon so I will deal with lifters on the new engine if that situation arises.

I agree on the new lifters... but on the other side of the coin, if used ones turn out to be bad, it's not a big job to replace them....

Agreed Tony. Well, new ones are on their way and hopefully the new engine will not need any.
