Default Head studs, are there alternatives?

I have heard from some people that we can retrofit head studs from some japanese makes as they have a cheesehead opening in the middle, hence allowing one to remove studs without needing to use double nut locking method.
Is this true and would anyone know what head studs would work on our cylinder heads.
Thanks in advance.

Raj

There's nothing wrong with your head studs.

Just wait for the new headgasket, don't pry it apart to look... just keep it as flat as possible.

Use no copper spray.

Lay it down carefully, pushing it over the locating dowels.

Double/triple check that the middle layers are laying down flat and interlocked properly.

Slide your head down (with the headers bolted on) to the head.

Don't lift the head backup or you have to double check that the layers are flat again...

Torque down to 15/45/75 (lbs) in the proper sequence.

And get your butt over to the dyno!

Not heard of head studs but exhaust manifold studs from Toyota Rav4 and a Saturn (not sure what model) have Torx heads that make that job better

Ooops, well thats what I meant, exhaust manifold studs as this way one can remove them to remove headers if needed without lifting head.
Would you know which one would work?

I removed my headers twice, without having to remove my original studs. It's tight fit,but they should come out
