Default T-bar delete

My "own" solution for T-bar delete and uniballs. My friend helped me to fabricate the needed part and welded all together

It is a M20 uniball.

I also ordered new AST 5200 coilovers with adjustable top mounts

Best Regards

/Björn

Those Polish guys make a bunch of 944 stuff. Are they on Rennlist? I was looking at their camber plates but ended up going with a more well known supplier.

It's for the pair and is machined from CNC etc... Don't think that's unreasonable for these. Am checking into them.

Hi Patrick,
Nice setup but I like this idea better http://www.elephantracing.com/suspen...pringplate.htm

No need for the weird curved links if you're not running torsion bars.

Hard to explain, but the ER arrangement still isn't optimum. There's a combination of link lengths and instantaneous centre that minimises toe in/out while giving a camber curve similar to double wishbone. Would be much easier to implement on your setup.

I don't have any modelling software at the moment so can't optimise. I'll post something when I can.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks Mike

The ER one looks better but of course they don't have an offering for the 944. Our main issue is one of the main bolts working its way loose. So this could/would fix that issue. In terms of the motion it 'may' not be so bad as we run such stiff springs there isn't a ton of movement anyway.

The item in question fitted. Looks pretty good I reckon.

Looks interesting.

I was wondering if it could be modified to correct the roll center of lowered cars, but then I remembered the banana arm pickup would need to be moved as well . . . . after all of that work you might as well have sourced a used Kokeln rear end . . . .

After breaking the other limited supply aftermarket version we were just going to go back to the stock torsion bar carrier but decided to make our own out of thicker sheet and with some more supports.
