Lart, Everybody knows you are a dealer and profit is not a ugly word. Had I been first to see his post I would have asked to buy but shot him a PM letting him know that he was VERY VERY under priced and presented him a offer that was fair to both parties. One that offered the Seller a fair price and the Buyer, in your case the dealer a reasonable rate of return. But hey.....thats just how I like to do business.

Then try to secure a deal with me to benefit all of us Joel, Jay and me, Yeah right i let him play like if I didn't know what was up his sleeve.

and today the honorable lifetime member Jay told me the head was sold to someone else, awesome that's to show how low your word is in a community like this is after all it was him who emphasized this IS rennlist and made me feel like if I was taking advantage of him.

Sorry for the rand I have been here for over 11 years and i have yet to cheat on a fellow member.

As for the price; you yourself Lart have often provided parts to myself and others at way below other vendor's prices and well below what might be considered "fair market value" - how often do people insist on you taking more money?

What's really interesting here is the guy with the "holier than though" attitude was the first one to knife you in the back - a lesson in itself!

Lart, I would be annoyed at you if you agreed a price on a public thread with me, then refused to sell me the item later due to unhappiness with the price. You have every right to be annoyed in reverse.

just needed the head pulled, deck surface, head gasket and fresh valve job.

then the cam pad junk-n-stuff/h20 pump and it'd'a been tip top.

guy who got my engine got the deal of the century.

A mans word is his bond. If his word isn't worth anything, neither is he. Very disappointing that a lifetime RL member would not honor his word.

Nope, he sold it to someone else for a higher price. You that doesn't bother me as much as him and joel the 968 guy made me feel like if I was a crook stealing from a fellow lister, so this thread is not about money but keeping your word at least for my self I have delivered to my fellow listers what I have promised.
