Default Can I Turbo my NA?

Well i figured the title of this one would grab some attention

I want to get in on the game, i want to turbo my 968 swapped S2. I live at 6,000ft and i'm tired of the lack of air harshing my vibe. Its either this, or i sell the car for something else and well, i don't really want to sell it so much.

Ideally i'd like to keep my 16v 968 head so that makes it harder obviously. I know the 2.7 head/951 intake gear is the easy way, but F that. I would like 350rwhp out of it, reliably. Doable? What should i be budgeting to hit this sort of goal? I know this is a low number for a 16v turbo, but i'm not ready for a 500hp death machine quite yet.

Thanks for any info on this guys, if you know of some good threads for me to read post them up! search is a broken SOB most of the time and epic threads don't always show up that way. I realize this is a broad subject, but i need a some direction and I need boost in my life.

google the 928motorsports or design1racing 968 supercharger kit.
apply $5k, gain power.

The 928 motorsports one doesn't fit in an s2 unless i hack out the hood latch from the radiator support and remove the popup headlights for GTS units. I imagine the Design1 setup is fairly similar on that front. Not really feeling that for 60 rwhp, the turbo build would be cleaner.

I got overzealous posting this thread up, just excited at the thought of it. Ill close this up and just read back through threads for a while. I'm sure ill find what i'm looking for, which is that if i want to do this i need a 2.7 head, pistons, 951 stuff and a rogue maf setup. the 16v build is way beyond my level at this point.

youre probably right about the design1 kit and the rad support, but ive met the owner and seen his own personal 968 and you'd swear the kit was factory-fitted, it is that clean.

i think youd be surprised what +60whp feels like !!

Haha You know i've had that same thought. I have 2 ways to go, turbo this motor or v8, both have their appeal. I've seen Docs swaped 951 here in colorado and seeing that car is definately inspiring on the v8 route. A v8 would also be easier than the 16v turbo. Decisions!

All i want is 350 at the wheels.
