Good morning.
I'm trying to sort out my car's mechanicals. I found out it has a Lindsey Racing Boost enhancer. It does not have a dual port wastegate. Is it redundant to have both or is having both optimum?
thank you in advance

redundant, both serve to keep signal pressure in the line to the wastegate at "0" until a preset limit is reached, in the case of the LBE thats around 10 psi, for the DPWG that's whatever the spring pressure/controller is set at.
The DPWG is far superior, the LBE is just a glorified one way ball check valve.

The boost enhancer modifies the control line going to the wastegate in order to eliminate/reduce the gradual increase in boost that Porsche designed into the system, presumably so that power delivery is smoother on the track, etc. They are best on near-stock cars in my book. It's a clever little thing, but no replacement for a good dual port wastegate. The best performance set up is a good electronic boost controller (which makes the boost enhancer unnecessary) and a good dual port wastegate.
