I have learned over the last few days that those who want power brakes if the engine dies will also mount a vacuum canister with a 1 way check valve to store vacuum. If I'm happy with the function of the pump then later I will add this to the car. Total cost for the canister, pump, switches, etc might be $300 US. It should reduce leaks and help with power & hopefully help drain turbo oil (the reason why I'm installing).

Maybe someone can help me out. I just bought a nice quality closed air/oil separator "catch can". Where is best to mount this? My car will be MAP and no longer AFM.

Search this forum for Saikou Catch Can and you should see multiple pictures of how to hook-up a "closed/non-venting" catch can.
