Is it a brand new unit ? if so make sure the solenoid is not plugged with a plastic thing in the purge port. What wastegate do you have try changing the lines around . Tial and LR "stock" dual port has opsite layaouts .

http://www.greddy.com/upload/file/PRofec_Bspec.pdf

Been using this splendid controller for years now at the recommendation of Tom M'Guinn.

When I first installed mine had the same uncontrolled boost, went back over all my connections and found my mistake (with Tom's help) been so long ago I can't remember what is was, tried to search for my old post, nothing comes up.

Hope this helps,

How funny, I just found my old PM to David and cut and pasted it into a PM to Carlsbergas. David and I (and Ed and Eric) all use the set up in that PM, so if that doesn't work, then something else is going on. Be sure to have some kind of overboost protection too -- my only knock on the Profec is that it doesn't fail safe. If it loses power it can overboost...ask me how I know.

Im runing the rogues a-tune, and he set the overbkost at 18psi. It really doesnt feel nice when the car cuts ignition while accelerating feels like some one slams on the brakes

Good -- better that than slamming the head through the hood

Did everything by instructions. Still cant control the boost, can it be bad solenoids in the box?

Also, from your pics your unit looked a bit worse for wear. I got lucky with my purchase it looks brand new. You could have an issue with the unit. If I have time tonight I will make a drawing of my exact plumbing.

This phone app sucks! Please disregard my post above, that is the way I plumbed it also, I just checked. Edit feature does not work. I ran manifold line to controller. The solenoid in and side port go to charge tube banjo bolt. The out to top of WG.

The thing is it doesnt mater if the unit is of or on the boost climbs untill I hit overboost protection, was fine with manual boost controler few days ago, but I remember I had one issue when boost just started climbing like if the wg was stuck, I released the throttle pressed it again and it was fine..

How did you set the dip switches? Guess it doesn't matter if you are having the same outcome on or off. Sounds like you received a bad unit.
