It has minimal rust. Just a couple little spots in the rear quarters. It's not of any consequence as I'll be moving the rear tires rearward anyway. Which will also lengthen the wheelbase.

I'm mainly using it for 1/8th mile and if the chassis is set up well, I should be able to keep it pretty straight. Either way, it'll be a handful.

I'm using the 4g since I already have two of them built and I'm comfortable with the output and reliability. I'm going to keep it to around 500 hp. Should work pretty well without breaking the bank.

The B210 kind of reminds me of another car. It won a race or two :

I almost bought a vega. But I wanted lighter. I was very close to getting a starlet. Take a look at my FB photos. When I went to PR I watched one go 8.16@170+

Tube frame eventually? I recall all of the 120Y's I rode in had the torsional rigidity of a wet noodle even before the rust set in. Great plan though. I have a soft spot for them. Much like watching the underdog shine. Same reason we enjoy the 944.

That top one looks close to mine. Mine will be sitting about 4" lower overall though.

Gonna do a 10 point tied into the stock "rails" first. Should stiffen it up quite a bit.

And remember that challenger I showed you I was going to build into a drag car... Its coming along but I doubt it will show up at Colorado street outlaws much if at all. Im looking forward to seeing your Datsun come together.

Looking good Travis. Are you doing the cage in that one?

I'm not going that far with the cage in the little one yet. We're just going to do a ten point with out riggers and sub frame connectors.

I look forward to seeing it out at the track, regardless of which one.

I didn't build that cage. That's a Shawn Kennedy work of art. The car should go high 7's at sea level (hopefully ready for TX2K15), so wanted to ensure it was safe and certified to 7.5.
When do you hope to have your car doing test runs?

It'll be a few months.

I really want this thing to be able to carry the left front tire without any prep at all. There is so much rubber down at the ppir that it really started to give advantage to the big tire cars.

I do still want to be able to drive it to and from the strip if I want to. If I can keep it straight for a full 1/4 pass, I'm shooting for 8.5 or quicker.
