Default WTB: Parts for a new Chump Car build

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a bunch of parts for a new chump car build... it will be a 944 NA with late offset suspension and turbo brakes. Our goal is to build a car within the Chump rules that will beat those pesky BMW e30 and e36 cars that have been dominating for years. The engine we are going to use is a secret...

Let me know if you have any of the following items to sell (please PM me a price including shipping to Cincinnati, OH 45102). Thanks! Parts donations are happily accepted and will be rewarded with sponsorship graphics on our car! Sorry, Peniston Oils is already taken.

- pair of '87+ 951/S2/968 spindles and hubs GOT EM
- all four '87+ 951/S2/968 rotors in like new or very good condition GOT FRONTS, NEED REARS
- 951/S2/968 radiator and cooling fans/shroud GOT EM
- any 16" or 17" late offset wheels (uglier the better, but must be straight) GOT EM
- racing brake pads (like Hawk Blue) for turbo/S2/968 calipers
- turbo transmission
- quick release steering wheel hub DON'T NEED
- racing steering wheel (like Momo, Sparco, etc.) DON'T NEED
- pair of turbo struts DON'T NEED
- pair of late upper strut mounts GOT EM
- Weltmeister springs, pref 250 lb/in. GOT EM
- larger rear torsion bars (27 or 28mm) GOT EM
- Koni Sport front struts or inserts

Hi Alan, I have a set of turbo S torsion bars and springs, if that's helpful. I have a "generic" racing steering wheel, too. I might even have a radiator fan shroud. E36s are hard to beat... especially on longer tracks.

Going to put in a 968 engine? Or a v8?

Hey, Van! No 968 or v8 engine.

I think those t bars and springs would probably work well for us. I looked up the t bars and I think they should be 26.8 mm. Does that sound right? Any idea what the front spring rates are?

Interested in the steering wheel, too. Any idea if it bolts to any common hub pattern?

If the rad shroud works on a turbo radiator, I'm interested.

Pm me a package price incl shipping. Thanks man

I have a set of cross drilled rotors and a set of turbo pads. They are DT-70's. Brand new in the box. I also have another set of used dt70's, that are probably 20% used. Also have turbo calipers front and back if you need those.

Yeah, the steering wheel mounts to a standard hub.

You might be better off with a 944 Spec suspension... 30mm torsion bars and 350 lb front springs... on fresh Koni shocks... That's what we have on our ChumpCar, and it's pretty competitive with the right driver (on small tracks where power doesn't make as big a difference).

16's I assume? Are they 7's or 8's (or 7's and 8's)?

Cool, interested in everything. For the rotors and pads, do you have all four corners to sell? PM me know how much incl. shipping to 45102, with and without the calipers (already have a set of turbo calipers, but could use spares).

Would love to, but I'm sure they're out of our budget!

Ooh, yeah that would work. We're trying to start out on a lower budget, though. Let me know how much for the turbo S suspension stuff and the steering wheel and fan shroud (w/ fans?).

Good luck!!!

Do you mind sharing how you anticipate the car will be valued with all those turbo parts in the suspension?
