WTB: Parts for a new Chump Car build

I'll have add it up once I get the actual parts in hand, but it shouldn't be much. I think the base 944 NA is valued at around $300, and the mods we're making are pretty minor. For 2015 chumpcar rules, 944 turbo's fall under the $500 valuation anyway.

Ok, cool. If you don't mind getting an estimate for the cheapest possible shipping, I'll see if we can swing buying them. If you can do $200 shipped, I'm in for sure. Shipping by Greyhound bus shouldn't be too bad (guessing under $50 from Phoenix to Cincy. Just don't weight them down with too much packaging... if you can strap them together with some cardboard in between and put garbage bags around them, that's sufficient for us.
Thanks!

The first chump race we ran with the turbo springs/torsion bars, and no one noticed. They looked like stock parts. (No one got out a caliper to measure the spring diameter, I suppose... and, even if they did, how would they know what size it was supposed to be.)
Then we upgraded to the Spec 944 suspension (to run in SP1 with PCA). Then, at the next two chump races, they gave us a small penalty, but added to the $300 value, it was still under $500 - so no penalty laps.

How about 400.00 shipped for everything? I also have a set of A arms that need a rebuild but you can have them.

Our 944 is the only porsche to have ever won a chumpcar race. I promise you don't need turbo brakes, we can outbrake 99% of the field We run stock NA brakes with upgraded pads. Aero is the key. We even run standard NA hubs and spindles. Over 300 racing hours on that car. Did break some control arms at the inner crossmember mount last race (on two different cars), so in addition to boxing, we have now added extra strength to the front bushing mount. Not sure what you will do for a motor, the math doesn't work out on any swap, and guys like me know how to spot high compression pistons and 89 motors after you end up in impound
With that being said, I'd highly suggest looking into the WRL series as well. Same endurance racing run by the former central region chump director, no contact, better drivers, no rookies, cleaner cars, classes etc. We will run GP3 with our 85 car, and GP1 with our 84/S2 transplant. After 5 years with chump, we did more WRL last year and will do more WRL this next year as well.

Doc, thanks. Appreciate the advice and congrats on winning. I was one of the Dragon Somethin' guys and I know how good the NA brakes are. We're going with turbo brakes mostly because of the ease of changing pads, and because we got them for a really good deal.
We'll look into WRL. If the engine swap math doesn't work out with chump then we'll find another series.

Yea, that is a big plus of the turbo brakes is the pad swap no doubt! Its hard to make the swap values work in Chump, even starting with a car valued at 375 points or $$ or whatever they are calling it now. Will be curious to see what you come up with! Can't go wrong with either series, Chump has turned into some real good racing, with the exception of a few wild west races, we have had a lot of fun with Mike M and his crew in the central region. Those E30's are tough for sure! Unfortunately they yanked almost all the central races for 2015 (at least anything close to KC other than Hastings) due to low turn outs in 2014. Nice thing is anything you run in chump has a place in WRL (so you can just jump back and forth based off what is close), though it can't be beat up, he wants good looking cars running and no crap boxes....we have to do a little body work this winter to clean up the 85!
