ps Michael I sent you an email re the Intake. Hopefully to the correct email address.
944 Cup, thus PCA SP3, which races under the same rule set, just made racing the 87-88 S car more attractive by making camshaft lift and duration free and allowing the use of the S2 intake so I'd guess it's going to become more common.

I'm considering building one myself.

In PCA, SP3 class, 188 bhp (+ whatever the new allowable mods are worth) and a 2500lb weight with driver vs. the 944T (86-88 non S) at 2875, the S2 at 2750 or the 944TS at 3050.

Michael - will answer you via PM once I have a look at my parts stash.

Who has one of these??
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but unfortunately work interferred. The one I have is marked 270.09, it is stamped on the end but it is not real clear or easy to read and my eyes are not what they used to be.

That looks like you right there.

All I have is one with two broken teeth.

Bought an 87 S in 1990, cars still pretty new, popped timing belt, engine in boxes. Would have passed but the car was low mileage and clean as a pin.

Two used cams cost me $750 each back then.
