SOLD
Folks, I'm in Northern Virginia currently, but moving to California. Unfortunately, there's no way this car will pass the visual emissions inspection in CA due to the engine build that was done by Chris White in 2011. SOLD. In addition to the Chris White engine build and routine maintenance, I have changed the following: Installed manual steering rack from a 1984 N/A donor Installed Khuel R134 Compressor and condensor Installed Deutsche-9 GTS headlight kit Installed manunal sunroof latches Replica turbo twist wheels (will also include OEM phone dials with purchase) Summary of engine rebuild: Increased displacement to 2.7, Electromotive Tech-S EMS, Garrett Turbo, see attachment for full details. Vehicle also has: 930 steering wheel, sports seats, LSD option code, aftermarket stereo with speakers installed in back. The not-so-good: Minor collision in 2009 resulting in cosmetic damage to the bumper cover and header panel. I replaced the bumper cover and header panel, and installed the headlight kit mentioned above. The hood paint is fading, generally needs to crank a couple times on first start of the day before the engine turns over. Thanks for looking!

Seems like a HELL of a deal! GLWS.
Spencer - don't know. Specific to ME and my future with my 951 and moving to CA, I'd be paranoid about the same thing. And also lazy. Plus don't they do random roadside checks? Not sure if it's worth the hassle. Or keep the car titled out of state, if that's an option....

Tomorrow I am flying up to DC, and then Saturday morning heading south to pick up this 951. Fingers crossed it is a smooth drive back to Charlotte. I wasn't looking for another red 951, in fact I was trying to find a white one, but the work done to the motor swayed me to make an offer on this one. I am looking forward to being a 951 owner again, Thanks Kyle.

Sam,
Happy to be back, the 951 is a car I seem to always come back to. Looks like you have moved on from the M-Coupe to a E36 M3 sedan, I have been tempted buy the E36 M3/4/5 for quite some time, I think it would be a great replacement for my volvo, if only it came in a wagon form.....
Richard,
Shoot me a PM or text with your number, I had a phone issue and lost most of my numbers, I think I should learn my lesson and back things up. But I would be happy to show you the car and let you drive it once I get it home and give it a once over.
