Default 968 M0303 big blacks for 86 951

Found some 968 M030 big black calipers for sale. What would I need to mount those to my 86 951? The guy is also selling matching 968 spindles with rotors. My car btw was not a M030 package car

it depends of the cost of the spindles and hubs but you can use this setup to run your big blacks

The spindles he has are for $180... Comes with hubs, dust caps, steering knuckles, and speed sensors. The rotors are cross drilled. The big blacks are $550. Sounds like it's a good deal? So would swapping out the spindles be ok? I know the 968 is the late offset while mine is early. Does that make a big deal?

the 968 spindles need to be m030 also to fit the big blacks, if they are m030 and he is only asking $180.00 that is a steal

Did the 968 come with Big Blacks or Medium Blacks?

Ya unfortunately they r not M030 spindles... So I'd need a adapter to mount the calipers to my 86.

968 m030 calipers are NOT "big blacks", they are the same as the 928 S4. The 928 GTS are the "big black" calipers which you can run with the 968 m030 spindle if you also run 928 GTS or 964 turbo rotors.

M030 is ok...

but, adaptors to make the Big Blacks fit the regular 968 spindles are available at Paragon,

then, Koni inserts, bigger sway bars, etc....

As Lart stated, if you can get matching 968 m030 spindles and hubs, jump on it. It's a no brainer. Those brakes are plenty for most applications. The spindles also will allow you to directly bolt on big blacks, which are 928 gts calipers as stated. Standard 968 m030 are s4's as stated as well. In other words, I didn't add much .
