Default Best diff/trans oil?

Hi all,
I know there are other threads asking about trans oil but I am wondering if there is other input to be had.

I have an '86 951 transmission with cooler loop, open diff, that is getting tired in the synchro department.

It's been a few years since I changed the oil in it and IIRC it is Lucas 85W90 or something like that.

I bought the trans with ~100k miles on it and I'd say I've added another ~40k to it. Is there a particular brand/weight/type of gear oil that would help the synchros out and keep things smooth at this age?

67King, I know you have some offerings, care to make a recommendation?

I've been happy with the Mobil 1 Delvac I get from Lufteknic. http://www.lufteknic.com/Merchant2/m...ode=lubricants

Based on the recommendations I've read here, I've been using the Redline MT90. Seems to work fine. *shrug*

One thing I know my trans DIDN'T like was the Royal Purple.

I've been racing with Red Line in the tranny for over 10 years. I swear by the stuff.

Redline MT-90. Used to use Swepco, but much smoother shifting with the Redline.
