See the link above and in my previous thread. I figure if I am going to machine these why bother with mediocre Bellmouth's.

Same costs for any design anyway.

If you read my other post it took about 20min to do this trying it for the first time.

totally agree, if you have the means to make them yourself and it's only going to cost some more time, may as well idealize them as much as you practically can.

but for others that may not read those linked docs above, these seem to be an "80/20" or "95/5" thing where just about anything tapered/radiused is an improvement over a straight cut pipe.

The pics using that particular software might not be as visible but they are the exact ratio for the ideal ellipse. Will post some better pics in the near future. I will probably make them available to anyone just like my intake and exhaust block off plates. Not happening quickly but it will be done.

your exhaust block off plates may be useful as custom header flanges down the road...bookmarked in my brain for the future.
