Been busy with work, tried to get hold off tom a few weeks back but then moving and swollen knee infection resulting in hospital time iv not had the chance.

In short hopefully soon.

My prediction at 1 bar 310
1.2 340/350 if it's 27/8

Who ported your head? Did you fit larger valves?

The same bloke who ported the heads on my 928 so that now I have 100hp/ltr out of the 5.4ltr engine. We did not fit bigger valves. Have to be as close as possible to the "Cup" cars

Crank or wheel horsepower. It is a 26 hot and 27 cold - dunno what's thar called, but it is fairly big vs. the standard 26/8

The Dyno guy messed up, so we had to postpone till Friday. Tom wants to investigate what he believes is a rubbing sound from the balancer belt.

My 944 has a cheese gratered panel at the front, so now it has tons more airflow than a standard 944. The thing is that if we were allowed to run 16v heads, I honestly think we would have easily been knocking on 500bhp. The 928 16v head is simply amazing, especially with 968 intake valves and minor port work. But that's a different discussion.

Any ideas on the gains from the head work?.

Crank hp. Only guess
26 comes with 2 difference Sized hot sides an 6 and 8. I thought generally 27 offers about 30 hp over the 26 but you could possibly run more boost and hold that to the redline. So there could be more gain difference at higher boost.

So what's the results?

I'd be interested to know the results, just purchased a lot off Tom. Should be going there for mapping when the car is in

Mine will be producing 1 bar also with a k26 hybrid.

Hot side is of a 8 - Turbo S basis -

If this thing only makes 310 crank I will be well peed off

It was a problem with the timing belt. Tom called on Friday to let me know he will be taking off the front covers. No other calls since then. I guess now it is all in the hands of the dyno bloke - finding the time to fit us in. The Augtronic ECU is already in and the car is running a base map, but we want to do it properly and map it on a dyno, rather than the open road.

What have you bought, his website doesn't go into much detail about what MAF/MAP he can supply ? Perhaps he needs to update it as mostly it's about what he's developing.
