Well I figured it out and it was one of my two guesses....either the clutch fork (wasn't it) or the throw out bearing snap ring....you guessed it!

Now to see if I can find a throw out bearing snap ring on Saturday, plus I need a clutch alignment tool, hopefully I can source something.

Doesn't need any parts, the retaining ring was put on backwards....so it couldn't capture the clip. Flipped it around and it's all good. Now to put it back together.

It's done! What a total PITA. Taking the transmission down, moving the torque tube, removing the bell housing....not so bad. But Those four of five little screws/nuts/bolts for the wiring/speed sensor/grounds sucked so bad.

I think I had about 17 hours of work into it to flip a beveled washer.....

But I drove it home today it 90 F weather, first time since the tune.....OMG, this car is fast! On the highway it super fast!
