Default Getting Fikse wheels, need suggestions

I'm pretty much set on some Fikse's based on quality (and price / availability vs HRE, iForged, Kinesis, etc)... looking to decide, FM5 or FM10. I'll probably opt for the black anodized centers with a polished lip...

I vote for the FM5's,

I think the angular 5 spokes look so good on our cars.....

FM-10s all the way!! I just entered my first car show on Saturday and came home with a trophy for best wheels.

I like them both, but to me the FM5 would be easier to clean and you could change the brake pads without removing the wheels

I think the FM5 looks better on the 951 series. FM10 for the 911.

What sizes are you getting them in?
Have you looked at forgeline rsr competition? At 500/wheel they might be my next set.

10” is the widest I’ve seen them when sold for a specific application. I’m looking to see if they tailor custom sizes. 10.5 and 9.5 specific.

If you're going to the track a lot you'll hate cleaning the FM10s...

If you're still comparing prices, give Paul Marcoones @ Radial Tire in Silver Spring, MD a call {(301) 585-2740}. He may be able to surprise you on pricing. He's also a really knowledgeable guy, active in the local PCA chapter, and races in the Speedvision Cup series (although it's an Audi).

Make sure you get the anodized rims. Much easier to clean than the bare, polished aluminum.

I had a set of FM 10's and their customer service is lacking service. If you find any imperfections do not drive off even if they note the damage that it was done in transit. They told me they would take care of the wheel that was damaged and not to worry but did not follow thru because I needed the car and drove it home with a promise to return the following day, also their wheels at the time were not true 18's they were 17's with an added lip to make them 18's. FWIW

I don't like the million-spoke kinds of wheels, personally. Too complicated, take attention away from a great-looking car, and a PAIN IN THE *** to clean.

I don't have any pictures, but here is a set of FM 10's on ebay. Not to bad for $2500.
