Default Parts feeler: Anyone selling 100mm 16v turbo pistons?

This is a price/availability feeler to help me make my next move. My 16v intake is in construction, I decided to move away from doing the "hack up an S2 and 951 manifold and join them" thing and and am basically going ***** to the walls with the intake. I was initially going to flycut stock 951 pistons, but decided this build is deserving of something better. I would be interested in 100mm bore 16v turbo pistons for an alusil bore, price dependent. The price will be the determining factor if I should just buck up and build a 16v 2.9 liter hybrid stroker.

Racers Edge or wossneronline.com, they are about $1000, as they are custom made.

I know I can order them, was hoping somebody had a set laying around they'd let go for cheaper. At 1000 bucks for pistons alone, its impossible in my eyes to justify NOT going hybrid stroker since I can pick up a 2.5 block + crank, mitsu rods + bearings, and chevy pistons for less than that.

I dont think anyone would have them made and sell them for considerably less than he paid for them..

I think your best option is to machine 951 piston crowns for 4 valve clearance. There should be enough material on top of standard 951 pistons.

Well I just did the math on it, and it looks like a complete 2.85 liter stroker bottom end will come to about $1700 for the rotating assembly, rings, bearings, gaskets, iron sleeves, and new head studs/rod bolts . That's of course not counting the machine/sleeving work and finding a block and crank. Stroker is looking mighty good now...
