For anyone interested and just for future archival knowledge, the Bosch part number is 0280120431 and the part can be found on:

94-97 Audi A4
94-97 Audi A6
91-94 Audi 100
91-96 Audi 80

These are all with the 2.8 liter SOHC 12v V6. It is a direct fit to a 951 and may even work with the stock DME.

Thanks for the tip to get me searching Raceboy.

Also just for everyone's knowledge, in addition to the 84-91 BMW 3, 5, and some 7 series using the same Crank position sensors as our cars, the same sensor is also available on the same cars mentioned in my previous post with the 2.8 liter sohc v6.

Not sure about that. This setup is on RAGE2's old car I bought from Soloracer. Apartently it was running an SDS engine management system....I'm not familiar with it.

I pulled the thing apart a few weeks ago right around the time you posted.

mechanically it funtions properly....not experienced on this particular TPS as far as wiring operation.

hopefully someone on here may have an idea

Interesting, thanks for sharing for the record. I ended up going with a very low miles OEM used 951 unit, it should be pretty reliable.
