Anyone rebuild thier turbo themselves?
My K27/6 just gave up the other day. no boost. pulled the maf off and the compressor won't budge. i bought it used off a Rennlist member years ago. How would I go about attempting a rebuild myself. Is there any special knowledeg that is needed that prohibits this. I am assuming someplace may have to do some of the work (balancing maybe). How would I determine what parts?

Take it to the turbo dude. He has the right tools to measure and repair and the skills to use them.
I have seen a couple of rebuilds at the track done by owners go home on the hooker.
