Hi Patrick, very nice work.

What spring rates are you running? Looks like a fair amount of body roll in the last pic.

Hi Chris, well spotted although I've seen more in other pics. We're only running about 1300lb fronts and 1500lb rears so plenty of body roll due to them!! Jokes aside, it's odd as I've seen similar things. I think with the Aero and wide/sticky rubber it just induces body roll despite the stiff springs. Also, pics and videos often don't convey the camber of the corners acurately. Plus we're moving at a fairly good rate so when we change direction it may create a bit of 'tipping' I guess.

It's really cool Thom. I don't have a lot of info on it, perhaps Sean knows more about it, but the guy has just put it together in his own shop and gets it out on the track. He's not a young guy (not that I should talk) and he doesn't seem to really hang the tail out by any means, but he turns some reasonable times. I don't think the motor is anything super special (993 that he's hung a couple of turbos off) but I'm sure the power to weight is still pretty convincing. Each time he goes around he looks like he's going really quite slowly but it must just keep up the same speed through the turns. Be great to have a go of it...wouldn't want to bring it back bent though!!!

Holy crap that is stiff! The 996 Cup car in the pic below does seem to be flatter, but that could be an illusion. You could simply be cornering way faster though!

Very cool stuff, good to see that your beast is achieving results. My little street driven near-stock car wants to be half of that when it grows up.

It's a bit of an optical illusion Chris. My splitter is a lot wider and that just exacerbates the appearance of roll. I think they're actually pretty similar angles although the RSR was taking different lines to Paul when he was driving. Perhaps this pic is of when I'm driving and taking the wrong line. Actually I'm guessing it's Paul as I wasn't on the same time as the RSR. Just the splitter that makes it seem more. Also, I think I might have stated our front rates incorrectly. I think we have closer to 1200lb/in. Can't remember as I know we were going to go up in rates at the front just not sure if we actually did just yet. Car doesn't feel like it has blocks of wood instead of shocks though. We're pulling over 2.5g's on this short track too.

I just want to say CONGRATS on your win and thanks for representing all of us 944/951/948 enthusiasts!!! Seeing our classic old car take down modern suped up sports cars just puts a major smile on my face.
