Default Rogue Tuning ECU - the first production batch is in!

The first batch of the production boards are in!!!

I have setup my webpage for orders, and included some package deals for those looking to combine the ECU with other Rogue Tuning kits.

If you haven't yet seen our new ECU, take a look here:

Rogue Tuning ECU

For the ECU order page:

Rogue Tuning ECU Order

The package pricing is on the respective associated kit's ordering page.

*In order to complete the new ECU order, you must send in a core DME. Because the new ECU can be configured for either 951 or 944 operation, it does not matter if the core is 944 or 951 DME.

*Additionally, please understand that these are assembled by hand. Depending on the volume of orders, there can be some lead-time expected.

Congrats for the effort.

That is indeed a great price for a new replacement DME, especially considering it's using modern components.

Wish you much success.

GGAAAaaaahhhh.... forgot about that . Guess I'm going to start digging around in yards for a core then.

So do you rebuild the exact core we send in? You reuse the main harness connector, FQS switch, one IC and the casing. Do you do anything with the casing in preparation? Ie. bead blasted, painted? Just trying to work out if I should clean up the casing before sending or will mine come back looking all shiney and new like the picture.

Any word yet on a solid state relay to replace the DME relays of old?

If you want/have a special case (such as one that is powder-coated), then I can use that as the exact core.
Otherwise, I will be sending out ECUs on a rotating fashion, and we will clean up the casing.

As in the ECU the customer will receive will look clean and shiney like on your website?

Is the early 944 DME the same as the late 944 DME?

Great work!

Does "late" 944 include 944S and S2?

Yes. The DME casing will be cleaned and painted.

The early (bolt-together style), 1985 or older 944 ECU will not work - too many differences.

The 16valve DMEs are completely different and will not work as a core, nor will the new ECU work as a replacement for them.
