Soo exciting!!

One question, is the ignition driver compatible with and HVC II coil, or do I need to specify that I'll be running one beforehand?

Yes, the new ECU will run the HVC coil assuming the correct dwell table. Even if the dwell table isn't correct, the ignition driver is fused protected..

The MSD Blaster 2 shouldn't be an issue either.
Ideally, you will want to setup the dwell table for that coil - but it is not as much of an issue as the HVC unit.

I thought that it may be "orderable" that way. I remembered you mentioned something about adding a capacitor in order to run the HVC II when you posted your research on it. Is that on the board already so that all we have to do is specify what coil we're running?

I always thought the MSD blaster 2 was the same as the stock coil. Been using one on my car and haven't changed anything computer wise. I haven't noticed anything odd. Should I have changed something?

The dwell map is part of the software. So I can only adjust the dwell it if you are running my software.
If you plan on running software that isn't mine, then I suggest adding the MSD ballast resistor to help limit the current through the coil

My plan is to order your new ecu and later upgrade to mtune. Would I need to have the dwell changed in the ecu or when I order the mtune package?

Really anytime you run a non-stock coil, is when the dwell should be changed accordingly.

Is the dwell changed from the ecu or the removable chips. My question is if I order the ecu now and later plan to use mtune, what do you advise for getting the dwell correct in a cost efficient way?

The dwell table is in the removable chip.

You will probably be fine with the new ECU, since the ignition circuit is fuse-protected. However, as extra insurance, I would run the MSD Ballast resistor (MSD part # 8214, about $10) until you get the proper dwell in the new chip.
