Default Just bought an E90 BMW

And I think its actually really a shame that Porsche has not made a sedan to compete with the Audi A4 and BMW 3 series etc. For not much money you can get an E90 with leather, heated seats, sunroof, multifunction steering wheel, xenon headlights, rain sensing wipers etc. It would have been great to have had a Porsche to rival it... I never would have thought that till I got the BMW. I was looking at what I could buy for the same money in the Porsche range, and its all old boxsters with high km or auto 968's or sluggish 928's etc. Such a shame, but I have to say I totally love this BMW.

To be honest unless its a manual 968 (which are very rare here) or a 997 I cant think of a daily driver I would want these days.

Did you get the 3.0l twin turbo 335? Those things can make over 400hp at the wheels with a few supporting mods and a tune.

Funny, I just put up my E90 for sale. Car is very good in many ways, but an unreliable POS.

Agreed, though. I wish Porsche made a smaller sedan.

I've been enjoying my 1988 750iL since August 2000. It's magic - set the cruise control to 130 mph (where legal!) & let that V12 whirr away like a massive electric motor. It's honestly been superb.
I've been tempted by the idea of a Bentley Turbo R, but horror stories about the cost & regularity of maintenance has suggested that I'm best to stay German & go with a known quantity.
