You may get it to clear... but wouldn't you think that the bar under heavy cornering my deform a bit, therefore rub under those conditions?

I have a Weltmeister, and it hits hood for sure.

I don't race my car. It is my daily driver. It does not rub so far. I am taking for a big test tomorrow morning up the G9 to Alice's Restaurant for the cars and coffee event. That will be a good test. I am quite sure it will not rub.

Just completed a 3 hour drive up to the top of the mountain on a great corner carving road called the G9 and back down, as you can see now marks whatsoever and yes, this does stiffen up the front end quite nice in the twisties! Very happy! Name: image-1400587618.jpg

I've got most of the parts powder coated, blue hoses bought, etc to do mine almost exactly like that.
Here's more recent picture with my RD brace mounted... I'd love to find a DT brace, though they don't come up for sale often...

It really is amazing how much better the bar makes the car feel when throwing it into turns. for me it just made the car so much more precise. i didn't expect it to that much as i thought the chassis was decently stiff but you can really feel the difference.

and all the engine shots on here are pretty nice. really like nurburger's a lot. i'm embarrassed of my dirty and oil tainted, heat soaked engine bay! oh, well, one of these days....

Not true it runs just fine. Started it up on the first crank before I left to China.
