Talking Clear side markers,finally

Howdy folks!

I'd like to share this with all of you, although I'm not Californian....
As you might know, here's been a debate about clear front blinker & side marker glasses.Joakim makes them in Sweden and finally I got mine installed.
Olli is going to make a step-by-step photo show about this and I guess Sami's going to post more pictures about these later. We have them now in three cars (actually in four, but one is having severe engine problems).
My opinion is that they look great ( ...what else can I say...? ) and the build quality, althoug not like Bosch originals,is very good. There were no problems with fitting.
I had to modify internals for amber bulbs and when lit,in darkness, they are completely amber and during daytime plain white.Red side markers are forbidden here.

So,what do you think?

Pete

WOW.. it doesn't look like rice.. in fact it looks really really good.

expect for some reason I don't think we can pull it off an a red car. Black, Grey, Silver and white cars, okay.. but on a red car it would look like rice.

But it looks phemonanal on your car!

I think slightly smoked side markers look best no matter what the color of the vehicle.

Those do look fantastic, however I agree as well that they may not look right on all colors. I had a body shop black out all of my lenses on the car. It's looks great. As soon as I can get these damn pics resized i'll post them or go to the powerhaus website and you can get a pretty good idea on how it looks. Powerhaus.com

The lenses are nice, but the rest of the car is downright beautiful. It is almost my idea of the perfect 951. . ., wait. . .

there, that's it!

(I hope you dont begrudge me this indulgance)

I would, except I got there too late and the guys were already packing things up. So no pics of the actual work

Got a few poses though:

And here's Tommy's car, prepared for the clear markers:

Sami,
i will send you later the "crappy" pics i took when we made the markers for Pete's & my cars.
The pic quality is not so good as yours since they were taken by my digital video camera.

What about going totally white - clear on the rear lamps? Anyone doing that? That may look a bit more modern?
