So the benefit of those 1/4 turn fasteners is that u can replace the panels easier if they were to get damaged? They look pretty good IMO. Also which flare kit exactly did u get from that website? I saw one that had the F40 style front flares which I think might look goofy on a 944. Thanks

Yeah, I think there's been 1 or 2 pics of the car floating around here and there.
Not going to pollute Cyril's thread. If you search under my username you'll find 'stuff'...

Back to you Cyril. :-)

The workmanship looks very nice Cyril!

Apart from it being a real parachute without tubbing, you'll also potentially damage the guards from the inside with rocks and rubber being flung up from the wheels.
We tubbed ours like this.

Patrick, sorry I thought you were talking about tube frame on the rear part of the car.
So I should have said, yes!
I am actually doing the same wheel wells as yours! :-)

Patrick, it is always nice to see details of your stunning car.
Thank you also for your kind words and for your contribution to this forum. Your beautifully engineered car has always been a real inspiration.

Yes. Actually all of the body parts are fiberglass, minus the roof and the rear panel. For now... ;-)

This pic is a few months old. GT racing parts. I also have the rear bumper and valance to go on. Thanks for posting up your pics and progress Cyril. Makes me excited about getting mine finished. It is making some progress again. Acquiring parts and cold weather slowed things quite a bit. I got a bunch of Lexan and a wing this week. Next project is mounting the seat so I can decide which pedal box to get. Now I just need time to do it. Thanks again for sharing.
