You will want to put some 3m on the flares in front of your rear wheels at least from the sill to a third / half of the way to the body line. The wide bodies take a beating there.

Thank you Patrick!
Actually I wanted a full front nose like this GTR one. I was not able to find something similar with the Turbo font bumper design, so I decided to build it. I also wanted to keep the hood opening. More practical! ;-)

Very good point Bod!
I had this probem with a Factory 5 Racing Cobra that I built few years ago.
I decided to go with aluminium! :-)

Awesome panel gap! Make sure you send some pics to Mike. He'll love it.

I have a full front piece like the one pictured. It's not practical at all. Can't remove it by yourself. Try getting your wife to set down her glass of wine while watching her favorite show to come out to the garage and lift some fiberglass off your race car...

Did u cut the quarter panels off? Sorry if it's a dumb question cause it looks like it was bolted on.

Yes I did cut the quarter panels. I did not use bolts but Dzus fastners (Quarter turn fastners).
Just a quarter turn on each one and the panel is out.
See pics for the cut...
