Split down the middle. If I had to do it again, I would buy the SFR hoses with stronger hose wall. I am sure 99% or whatever of their kits are fine. I just dont like the odds when I am that one.

NZ951, It's no fun playing the odds when you've been burnt. I don't blame you. If I were pushing 315hp, my hoses might split too!

Here is anther tip.Do not remove the dipstick from the intake manifold.Just loosen the 10mm bolt and remove the dipstick with the manifold.Works wellI have done it about 100 times!

I would describe the Lindsey hose failure as usual for me. As it has happened. But I imagine unusual for most people. I think the SFR kit has better quality hose walls... IIRC. Tim, can you advise?

The silicone hose we sell is about twice as thick as the stuff Lindsey sells while maintaining the same ID. It is also quite a bit more expensive. Unfortunately, doing it right doesnt neccessarily mean doing it cheap. We have had too many problems with the thin, soft vacuum hose and splitting/cracking is a normal occurence so we stopped selling it.

No its not listed, and many parts which are listed, he no longer sells. It would be great to see all the parts he offers on there!

PS Tim if you have an IC duct for the header panel vent system, I would love one!
