This is great. See what this forum is doing. We are now seeing new products for our cars. We now appear to have this new product,(s) the Link EFI systems which run off the factory sensors and the sequential Link 2 system. More choices would be even better. We all stand to benifit from these additions.
Great news!

Fast951 I just checked out the web site for the first time and I must say the thoes dyno numbers on the kits are awesome. It looks like you may have something for me but I will have to get rid of my Guru map right??

Brett, glad you like the kits. I will update the site to include info on the latest turbo upgrade.. Stage 2 hits 15psi boost around 3300rpm (vs. 3800).
We use a MAF with all of our kits.

Brett,
Why not use the LinkAFM to control the Vitesse MAF. Then you get all the advantages of that controller, the Vitesse one does not have. The if you want to ever remove the MAF, you can go solo.
Kinda best of both worlds.

With the Vitesse MAF Kit, we offer our PiggyBack for fine tuning purposes (Fuel & Ignition), and for data logging. Also our PiggyBack will support new features in development (Boost Control, water injection, Shift Light, WideBand data logging and mapping... .).
It's not a good idea to mix and match components. It doesn't matter which kit or from whom you get it. Get all of the components that work together as a system. When you need support, you just contact one person who understands the whole system... When you get a complete kit you benefit from the fact that someone spent the time researching/developing/integrating/testing the products so you wouldn't have to.

Why stay with a piiggyback? With all of those features in development, why not buy a EFI which already has those and more. Runs off factory sensors to boot. Why wait, and why not.
It could be said that you have to map all of the engine parameters, nulike the pggyback, but with the engines I'm seeing here, the small amount to map extra is nothing. Only makes for a way better engine. No limitations with a full EFI, piggybacks always have limitations.
When your adding this many features to a piggyback, you are in effect creating a EFI system, but limiting the user to the constaints of a piggyback. Seems to defeat the purpose to me.
The biigest problem with a piggyback is the Ignition system. It will retard but can never advance, or a least do it proporley. It has to guess where the next event is even before it happens. I'm certainly not the person to inform this on, but its always a mess. Add in Turbo engines, and you have recipe for disaister. Yes, in most cases what you are trying to do is retard, and they all do this, by delaying the EFI timing event. But the Ignition map becomes very soft and lazy, and the changes in final crankshaft advance makes for a very poor responsive engine, in comparision to an EFI system doing all of the Ignition.
I think with the EFI systems now running off the factory sensors, why bother with a piggyback. Piggybacks made sense when we didn't have these choices. Not now in my book!

M42racer, The PiggyBack DOES advance the timing, perhaps you need to research this further.
Obviously you have interest in selling other EFI systems. It's great, just start your own thread and will be glad to participate... This thread is for Vitesse new offerings.. Thank you for understanding..
Some of the products we will be introducing in addition to the exiting PiggyBack will make Standalone EFI systems not needed...
As I said earlier.. TT has done a superb job.. No one will be able to match our products..

Sorry to hijack your thread. Didn't mean too. I suppose with your thinking we should expect to throw away EFI systems and go with piggybacks.
BTW, if your system advances the timing great. It can be said on paper, but in the real world my friend it never happens prpoerly! Been there done that.
