Default Hello everybody!

Hey guys its me Patrick aka ShApE (if anyone remembers me). It's been a while, how has everyone and their projects been? I've got some serious reading up to do. I haven't touched my 951 in about a year but that is going to change very soon.

For those who don't remember the last time I was spending serious time on here was when I was working at Austin Speed Shop. I have since left the speed shop and now work directly under Jesse at West Coast Choppers as his welder/fabricator and I have been crazy busy (I'm one of 4 employees). But all of the long hours have paid off and I am in the beginning stages of construction on a shop in my backyard. With this shop I will begin working on the 951 again (I have a ton of new parts). And while working on the 951 I plan to make a lot of jigs and welding fixtures so I can offer you guys some parts made with the highest quality materials and techniques. If you are interested that is, not trying to push parts on anybody I'm just letting you know that there is going to be some new life in our aftermarket in the near future. Once I get things rolling, and my shop is set up I will become a vendor here.

So that's about it, I'm glad to be back and can't wait to get started on my 951 again. thanks for reading!

Welcome back. Those are some mighty fine welds. I've been practicing with the TIG, but they sure don't look like that. Does this mean you'll be on TV?

Thank you. If you have any questions about tig just PM me and I'll I would be happy to give you some pointers. I did the TV thing for a little bit on Outlaw Garage and the biker build off, it was fun but also really annoying. I don't think there will be anymore of that.

You know I was really close to finishing the 3.0L and then for some reason I just sold it. I had convinced myself that I was going to do a different swap, and now I'm kicking myself for selling that engine. I have a good 2.5L that will be going in there now.

I wish I was working at WCC during that era. I've just been on the last 2 build offs. They're fun, but they are a ton of work because on both of the last 2 build offs we literally made every peice of the bike besides the engine and tires. On the last bike we even made a transmission case out of 1/8" chromoly sheet metal haha.

The Indian Larry era was when everybody involved was really pushing good craftsmanship and the shows were about the build. We were up against the OCC and Paul Jr, and and on the last one Gas Monkey joined in.
