Default WTB: turbo temp sensor

I broke the pin on it by accident. I actually can't believe I haven't done it before.

This is the little one conductor temperature sensor in the coolant line to the turbo.

P/N: 930-606-118-00-m100

Thanks,
Phil

Can you post a pic of it. I know what they look like I just need to see where it is damaged. I have an old one lying around somewhere. It Works. I might be able to fix yours and send you my old one. I'm in Calgary.

Here is the pic. I'm not sure you can repair a thermocouple because of the different metals in contact with each other create a tiny voltage. If it's possible then I'll have learned something new.

Sorry I did not get back sooner. I have not found mine yet. It was put away during my move last year.

Thanks gruhsy for looking.

Also thanks David, I was trying to save a couple bucks for a stupid mistake, but I'll have to bite the bullet

Cheers,
Phil

Ya know I think you can get a flat style one from like NAPA auto parts ?
I think they are like 45 bucks .. The benefit of the flat one is that if you later go to a big turbo, you don't have to worry about the clearance issue with the intake manifold above
Some have also recommended going with a lower profile thermostat for the turbo water pump. I did install this piece but I'm not convinced that I needed to. I bought it at NAPA Part #: ECHFS158, I think it was ~$45.
from this link https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...1-k27-6-a.html
and https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...sor-issue.html
Seems in the 2nd thread, there is a possible issue with the threads matching up? I am sure there are guys on this board with more info
Good luck
Ed
