Default FS158 low profile temp sensor issue

Hey guys trying to get my k27 installed today. The thread pitch is incorrect on the napa part, did you guys just use some teflon tape to make it fit the Y pipe?

The part number I asked for was ECHFS158 -- assume it's the same. Do the threads line up with the old sensor's threads or can you see that they are different. Any chance the pipe threads are chewed up at all?

Yeah the FS158 is the ECHFS158... the ECH is for the Echlin brand designation. Yeah the pitch of the threads are different. We are gonna use some teflon tape and see if it holds for now.
