Default Exhaust tip, yay or nay ?

Hey I'm replacing the muffler on my 951, the previous owner installed a 7" round muffler with a big 5" tip, the kind of exhaust you see on japenese cars, integra, civics you name it... I purshased a 8x5 oval magnaflow muffler with 3" in and out, and I wanted to weld a 3.5" stainless turndown tip, but I then had an idea. I saw this exhaust style on some 930...

Its a 60° mandrel bent 3.5" stainless steel pipe. I'm sorry for the crappy cellphone pic. Should I go for it or stick a stealthy turndown tip. I don't really like the straight tips that every 944 have...

No.

It doesn't look correct.
It's not about being 'different' because not everything looks good, no matter how different you want to be.

straight out, you can have it face down a little if you want, but just the tip like this

i have a twin exhaust tip which i like, It feels up the empty space around the rear diffuser.

Yeah the first car is Patricks (333pg333) WTAC car.
That dump like that is quite popular in Aus with the VL turbo guys.
I was considering that tip 3 years ago when i built the 3"

The reason i originally had twin pipes was the 'race car spec' wastegate dump straight to the rear. I ditched it but i liked the twin 3" pipes, so i made a tip for it like that. For my car, a single 3" pipe looks to weak for the noise it makes.

I admit it looks a little funny on a lower point of view but I really like it when I'm looking at it from a normal point of view. I'll wait tomorow on daylight to be sure... I can always cut that pipe and install it a different way..

I'm not a fan, but it's your car. If you like it, do it!
