Default Value of complete running motor

This is a feeler thread, I'm considering selling the running engine out of my car. It has brand new belts put on last month, freshly resealed oil cooler done last week, and a 2 year old spec aluminum flywheel and clutch. Strong compression all around, but the head probably needs new guides. What is it worth to yall?

Yes and I'm still going to use it either way I go, but I just got a ridiculous offer on a V8 swap, I almost can't say no...If it falls through, I'll continue to develop the squirted' turbo engine.

Edit: consider this a defacto for sale thread, if anyone is interested feel free to shoot me a pm. I'll yank the motor out of my car next weekend if someone wants me to.

Sold my 125k long block, new belts, full reseal, water pump, rod bearings for $1300. This was without turbo. Local track buddy bought it.

Pretty much what I thought, and this motor has >100k on it, though the water pump and rollers are not super new. (~3 years) I don't know if its ever been opened up either, I suspect not, but I do know for certain the cam tower came off at some point in the last 3-4 years to be resealed.

Just my opinion, but I think a range of $800-1500 depending on condition, history and what you include with them.

I can vouch for the motor being in good shape - it also has a cam in it, right?

What was your offer on the V8 swap?

I might be interested in your motor if it is strong running and tight (non-leaky)

I better not say, A deal between friends that is not being offered to the public.

V2, the motor is tight save for what I believe is a very slow leak from both the front and rear main seals.
