Still the best livery IMO.

That intake manifold is pretty interesting given the current talk in the Ultra High Flow head thread.

"The GTP was equipped with a special Type 949 cylinder block with dry sump lubrication, KKK K28 turbocharger and an air-to-air intercooler. At a boost pressure of 15.5 psi 410 bhp was possible from the 2,478 cc block.

At Le Mans chassis 924-006 was prepared with Hugo Boss for Walter Röhrl and Jürgen Barth and they finished finished 3rd in Class as well as 7th overall."

This was not bad at all!

I wonder what kind of chassis it has? Since its not a full tube-chassis it might use McPherson in front.
I anyone have thoughts of the back?

What is the pipe on the left side of the engine going in the coilover direction, it seems adjustable.

Peedster, my best guess is that pipe is a strut tower brace. It's removable so they can pull off the cam cover, or remove the engine.

and yes, amazing build. Thanks for posting the links!

Correct that is part of the cage/strut brace.

You really should check this thread out! Many detailed pics of suspension! Crazy axles on that car!!
