I'm getting ready to tune my M/S standalone and I have some questions regarding optimum A/F ratios through spoolup. I'm setting up a 93 octane map first, and I'll use what I learn from that to set up a nice E-85 map. Microsquirt has the ability to tune cell by cell to a specific A/F ratio as long as it has a wideband input. I'm basically targeting stoich for all cells which lay in vacuum. Under full boost I'll be aiming for 11.8:1 but I'd like some input on the best way to curve the A/F's from stoich down to 11.8. I was thinking run stoich up to 5 psi and then begin to fatten up the ratios by ~.5 for every additional psi of pressure up to my target ratio, so that I'll be running ~11.8:1 from 11-18 psi. Is there a better way to do this? I'm new to tuning turbo cars.
