Default C7 Ride

I just got to drive a new Stingray C7 Corvette...

I have to say, my mint '87 951 may be for sale. I love the "rawness" of our cars and the amount of fun they are to drive BUT...

Chevy did a GREAT job on re-designing this car in every way. It makes you grin like the first time... over and over.

Good luck getting one for MSRP this year. I would wait till they work out production kinks and get one at invoice next year. My neighbor put his deposit down two years ago and got a blue one last month, I drove it, I agree, a win for Chevy and USA. I like everything but the rear end.

To each his own. I saw one at a local car show and it was much better than in pictures, even the back end. With the lights on the back end looked great. The interior was really a step up. The car was garnet and tan leather interior Z51 package that retailed for $74K. It sounded awesome, the owner was very proud as it was the second one in the area sold.

I bet no one would say anything about the F12 (Please tell me it's a fine bred Italian sports car, and not a nutty hotwheels toy!):

Not sure I am following you here... are you comparing the ride of a C7 to the ride of an '87 951?? If so, that doesn't make any sense to me. Try comparing an '87 Vette to your ride and see how it compares. Or, compare the ride of the C7 to a 991.

I was never a fan of the rear, but it looks 10x better in person than in pictures. The real beauty of the car is behind the wheel. Everything fits like a Euro exotic...really impressed. Motor sounds awesome, power and handling keeps you smiling long after you park.

oh yea and my friend paid list.

There's only one thing I don't like about the C7...there will be tons of them on the road in no time...

Same thing happened with the mustang. I really liked the redesign, but now they're EVERYWHERE!
