Yeah he is! That's who i spoke to when i bought my clutch. He recommended the Stage 3+ for my car as it's a street car and I'm happy with it! That's the same clutch he's running in his car. very helpful guy!

How is the engagement? I really like the KEP/Cup combo because it has true factory smooth engagement, but would like to find something equally smooth with higher limits.

I'll give him a call this afternoon! But i'm thinking the stage 5 should be my way to go.. As it's somewhat driveable but not perfect but it can handle the power. I'm not saying i'll get the 550rwhp this year (car will be finished next year.. ;-) ) But buying a weaker clutch right now and having to replace it next year because i do get the 550rwhp and about 700+NM, it will be a shame to replace it again!

@968TurboS, it's probably a 968setup i guess? I have the standard flywheel and standard transaxle so that would be difficult as i'll have to buy a lot of extra stuff to just fit a clutch..

I think you have the KEP 1?
I run the KEP 2 and while I expect it to be stiffer than the KEP 1 it really is easy to modulate and not that hard on the leg. In fact I believe that after 40k km it has become slightly less stiff. For what it's worth the Sachs Motorsport unit that I tried in two other 3L cars recently was way stiffer with a very unpleasant feel, somehow binary in the same way as the stock clutch. As far as I can tell the KEP 2 is more progressive.

Dutch, yes it is a 968 setup. It would be hard to pull the logistics of shipment with your distance but you would need to swap the tt as well as the bell housing. You go thru this pain once and clutch jobs are a mere 2 hr jobs after.

Hmm.. But eventhough there are 2hr jobs.. I don't want to perform them at all..!! I just want to put one in and have it hold the power!

I run a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate. Their pressure plate design is pretty innovative. Take a look on their web page. The setup is said to hold up to 700hp. I am running 350 to the rear wheels.

Hehehe..

Got on the phone yesterday with SPEC, the offer a new package; the Stage 5 clutch package with a torque capacity of 575 ftlb or 780NM.. So that will be enough for me! And Duke..
