I will be honest with you. I don't know. I will call fuel lab this week and find out. Since I will only put a few thousand miles a year, I would think it will be a long time. This filter is big, and with the pre-filter screen in the tank. This is a 40 micron SS mesh reusable filter as well. Simply pull it out clean with brake cleaner and reassemble. Of course the better way would be to put in an ultrasonic cleaner for an hour or so. I can do this at work, but some won't have access to such a device.

OK, so lesson learned from this project. Do NOT use the method demonstrated on LR tech section for mounting the Bosch 044 fuel pump. If you do, it will be obnoxiously loud! Cut off the factory condom/beer can coozie and take the time and effort to install it on the 044. You will be happy with your choice if you do! You will hate it I you don't. The piece of silicone hose provided by LR did come in handy though. It worked perfectly or mounting the new Fuel Lab filter! I am going to try to gather all this information up and type up a real procedure with pics, prices, & part numbers. With procedure and parts in hand, I think this upgrade can be accomplished in less than 3 hours!

Nowhere near as fast and nice as your work Shawn. You would have knocked this out in a few hours. Hoping you are free in a week or two!!!

Yes, have to give me a week or so, jumped into another project last night and taking a lot more time than I expected. I have had this IceShark harness sitting around for years and all of the various lighting options. I got the H4 Narva's and E-Codes installed and most of the harness pulled. However, the fog/driving light package is much more difficult than I anticipated. Running into a road block here. Might have to wait until after the big stereo install starting on Friday. Won't get the car back until Christmas, maybe New Years.

You can see a couple pics of it halfway down this page;

Thanks a lot for the information.

I have posted the procedure on a new thread. It was too large to attach so I had provide a link provided by Shawn. Thanks Shawn!

I will post here as well to make things easier.
